I am a Californian and very proud to be a multi generational beach girl from LA. That said I have lived many places on this amazing coast, from South to North. I also had the opportunity to live in Italy. I currently work full time from my studio on the Central Coast in the small beach town of Cayucos, after moving my studio here from San Francisco in 2020.

I really do love the West Coast beaches and our Pacific Ocean. For that reason I am always engaged in painting ‘her’ and our California culture. I paint the colors on the bluff walks overlooking the ocean, the urban, what I drive past on HWY 1, my memories of the past and for me California is still one of the most magical places on the planet.

For sixteen and a half years I shared my studio with Taxie the Terrier - she was about 11 months when we adopted her, always a silly girl. Now she has gone where all good doggies go - Paris, France - hanging out at cafes, butcher shops and cheese mongers. August 2008 - January 2026
